Elite Community Ultrasound (ECU) is delighted to offer this comprehensive target scan for women who are 16years or above and are undergoing or planning to go for fertility treatment.

This scan includes the detailed examination of only endometrium (womb lining) however, can be upgraded to fertility pelvic scan at any time until the completion of endometrial thickness scan.

A detailed specific and targeted assessment of endometrium (womb lining) would be carried out by our specialist/consultant sonographer by performing two methods: transabdominal (through the tummy) and transvaginal/internal (through the vagina).

This scan is generally performed in early days (between 3^rd and 5^th day) of menstrual cycle (periods) for proper assessment of reproductive organs, especially endometrial (womb) lining and ovaries.

Endometrial (womb lining) thickness scan can be used to test for a variety of conditions such as:

Suspected polyps in endometrial cavity and endometrial hyperplasia.
Endometrial/uterine synechiae (adhesions).

Bent over backwards to make sure we had an appointment time that worked for us, even came in early so that we could have the scan on the day we wanted. We had a very good experience with Dr Gupta, baby was very stubborn at our 4D scan and we were offered a free rescan where we still couldn't see baby well but he gave us multiple opportunities to go for a walk to get baby to move to get better photos.

I recently had an ultrasound by Dr Gupta.The scan was excellent, Dr Gupta explained everything and the scan was visible on a large screen for me to see everything.
