However, this scan is not an alternative of annual mammogram screening.

Elite Community Ultrasound (ECU) is delighted to offer this comprehensive breast scan for woman who are 16years or above and do not want to wait for weeks for finding an answer.

Breast ultrasound is a non-invasive painless and radiation-free medical imaging to check the internal structures of the breast. It can help you or your healthcare professional to exclude the cause if you have any breast issues. For example, it can help in identifying the nature of breast lumps such as cystic (fluid filled lump) or solid (contains solid component) and other abnormalities that may have been identified during a physical examination and other medical imaging such as mammogram. However, this scan is not an alternative of annual mammogram screening.

A breast lump either can be a benign or malignant (cancerous). It also can be cystic (fluid filled lump) or solid (contains solid component).

Breast cancer occurs when abnormal cells within the breast start growing and dividing out of control, eventually developing into a tumour. Breast cancer starts in the breast’s milk ducts. Booked an early pregnancy scan, and they were sensational! Bent over backwards to make sure we had an appointment time that worked for us, even came in early so that we could have the scan on the day we wanted. Dr Gupta was so knowledgeable, reassuring, funny and kind. So many words of encouragement and wisdom. Would highly recommend!

We had a very good experience with Dr Gupta, baby was very stubborn at our 4D scan and we were offered a free rescan where we still couldn't see baby well but he gave us multiple opportunities to go for a walk to get baby to move to get better photos.
