Note: A £20 charge is applied for the blood draw. All prices listed below are for the test only and exclude any additional charges.

Do I need a GP referral to book a private blood test?

No – you can book directly with us. However, we recommend speaking to your GP, midwife, or another healthcare professional if you’re unsure which test you need or have medical concerns.

Can my GP or NHS healthcare professional refer me for a private blood test?

Yes, they can. They can refer you by contacting us directly or using our online booking system. If they have a referral form, they can send it to us, and we’ll get in touch with you to arrange the appointment.

Do I need to fast before my blood test?

No fasting is needed for the tests we offer. Just make sure you drink plenty of water before your appointment.

What happens after my blood sample is taken?

Your sample is sent to our partner lab. Once processed, your results will be emailed to you securely using the email address you provided.

When will I get my results?

Most results are ready within 72 hours after your sample reaches the lab. Some tests may be quicker or take slightly longer, depending on the type.

What should I do once I get my results?

We recommend sharing your results with your GP or the healthcare professional who referred you.
They can help explain the results and advise on any next steps.

Will I be charged if I cancel or reschedule my private blood test appointment?

No charge if you give us enough notice.

  • For standard appointments, we need at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • For same-day bookings, we need at least 24 hours’ notice.
